Hello! I'm Kim Fleet.
I'm the author of five crime and mystery novels: Sacred Site, Featherfoot, Paternoster, Holy Blood and Devil's Chimney.
Sacred Site and Featherfoot are murder mysteries based on my experiences of living and working with Aboriginal people in remote communities in Australia. Both are set in the Australian outback and feature feisty yet flawed female characters.
In recent years I've turned to crime closer to home, writing the best-selling Eden Grey series set in Cheltenham. Eden Grey is a private investigator, a sassy, determined heroine who takes it personally when her clients turn up dead. All of the Eden Grey novels are time-slip, with narratives set in the present day and in the past. The first in the Eden Grey series, Paternoster, was nominated for a Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger award.
I also love writing short stories and have published over 60 commercial short stories in women's magazines in the UK and abroad. I've also won or been shortlisted in numerous writing competitions and my stories have been published in several anthologies. I’ve written dozens of articles on social history, culture, writing, and family history research for publications such as Writers’ Forum, Your Family History, and Discover Your Ancestors. You can find out more about my writing credits and view samples of my work on the What I'm Writing page.
