Hello! I'm Kim Fleet.
I'm the author of five published novels: Sacred Site, Featherfoot, Paternoster, Holy Blood and Devil's Chimney. My books are crime fiction and murder mysteries.
Sacred Site and Featherfoot are based on my experiences of living and working with Aboriginal people in remote communities in Australia. Both of these books are psychological murder mysteries.
In recent years I've turned to crime closer to home, writing the Eden Grey series set in Cheltenham. Eden Grey is a private investigator, a sassy, determined heroine who takes it personally when her clients turn up dead. All of the Eden Grey novels are time slip, with narratives set in the present day and in the past. The first in the Eden Grey series, Paternoster, was nominated for a Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger award. Paternoster reached number 37 in the Amazon historical fiction charts, and Holy Blood reached number 34.
I've published over 60 commercial short stories in women's magazines in the UK and abroad, and I'm the author of 22 prize winning short stories. I’ve also written over 20 articles on social history, culture, writing, and family history research for publications such as Writers’ Forum, Your Family History, and Discover Your Ancestors. You can find out more about my writing credits and view samples of my work at the What I'm Writing page.
